Candidate Roundtable
Sunday, August 3, 2008
2:00 – 5:00 PM
Maka'eo Pavilion - Old Airport Pavilion
in Kailua-Kona
Hosted by the League of Women Voters
The forum
will feature mayoral candidates and
candidates from Council Districts 6, 7,
8, and 9. The interactive format gives
everyone who attends the chance to sit
with candidates in a small group, asking
questions directly.
At this forum, a moderator will pose a
question to each candidate. Each
candidate will have one and one half
minutes to answer the question.
Following these responses, candidates
will disperse to separate tables to
discuss the issue with small groups.
Each table has a facilitator as well as
resource information. These sessions are
likely to last between 5 and 10 minutes.
The League of Women Voters is a
nonpartisan organization which
encourages public
participation in government. It does not
support any particular candidate. For
more information, call 328-8514.
